Dogs!

Kay loves photographing dogs - this was how she started her professional photography career.

"Dogs have always been a big part of my life and I seemed to get along with remedial dogs that would never set foot in a studio... My own behaviour-challenged German Shepherd appeared to think my camera was eating me, trying to remove it from my face whenever I attempted to photograph her, so I knew where these owners were coming from. I developed my knowledge of canine behaviour and photographic techniques to enable me to take photos of those special dogs so their owners could enjoy lovely images too. I worked with the owners to gain trust and soon they were sitting comfortably enjoying themselves in a studio environment!
My favourite images are those taken when the dogs are in their own comfort zone - that's when their real personalities come out, so as well as studio portraits, I also photograph pets on location - challenging at times, but so much fun!"

Whether it's a studio portrait, location fun shoot or a set of images showing off your dogs agility skills, why not book a shoot with us - indoors or out on location.

This gallery has a selection of images taken on various dog shoots - regrettably, some of the early agility images were taken under very low light conditions so suffer from 'digital noise'...
