Happy New Year 2014!!

Bill and Kay have had a busy 2013.
Having introduced custom printing to our photography business, we have developed this with the exciting addition of our large format printer and press in July, enabling us to produce printed products measuring 30inch by 40inch (Kay still loves imperial!)
This means we are able to introduce new products to our range and offer the printing service to other photographers. Wedding and portrait photographers can now offer a wider range of products to their customers so a win-win service all round here.
We have added fabrics to our range - Our cushions being a big hit with photo-montages proving very popular, allowing for smaller resolution photos to be used, of the type we take on our phones. Large images created from lots of small images are very popular and something we will be looking at for our canvas range - a new one for 2014.
We have linked with artists now too, and this is both exciting and rewarding. We really enjoyed being part of their Christmas stock ideas!
Our repeat customers have been invaluable in helping us evaluate new stock lines and trialing products - we are grateful for their ongoing support and enthusiasm.
In the summer we bought a lovely big pavilion so, if the weather is kind again this year, we will be more visible at country shows and fairs. Websites are wonderful, but there is nothing like the real thing for that extra 'Wow' factor.
Kay is putting together some new galleries with a view to selling images this year. We have some example galleries still, but these are now quite out of date - this section of the website had to take second place to the development of other areas so now has moved up to priority spot.
Amongst these will be the promised 'Cloudbusting' Gallery and the 'Wild at Heart' Gallery. Those of you who follow our Facebook page will have seen a few images popping up here, but we have lots more.
Three of our 'Cloudbusting' photos will shortly be displayed in the shop at The Shuttleworth Collection in Old Warden. These will be for sale and are on large format Aluminium.
We very much welcome the new challenges and adventures that await us in 2014 and wish all our Maple Photos friends a very Happy New Year.
